Join us for a transformative gathering, spanning three consecutive days, as we bravely awaken and revitalize our bodies!

DanzaMedicina emerges as a powerful antidote, challenging the collective anesthesia, the stifling of our instincts, the numbing of our senses, and the suppression of our visceral forces that have become normalized. In a world marked by disconnection, exhaustion, and superficiality, DanzaMedicina serves as a poignant reminder to embody the essential truths we must never forget. This invitation beckons women to shed their masks, confront their fears, and embrace their shadows, embracing their untamed and sacred feminine essence.

The meetings will take place on the 25th and 26th of November, Saturday and Sunday.

Our meeting will begin on Thursday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. (check-in from 3:00 p.m.) ending on Sunday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m. (check-out until 3:00 p.m.).

There will be four days of immersion with DanzaMedicina facilitated by Morena Cardoso, an experiment in body psychotherapy that reveres the body as a ritual territory for summoning and reconnecting with instinctive knowledge, which serves as a complaint and an antidote to the fundamental diseases of our time.

An invitation to remove the masks, face our fears, embrace the shadows, to nourish what has withered in the desiring body to, who knows, rescue what we left behind on our way as women.

Our meeting starts at 5PM on Thursday 31st of August and ends at 3PM on Sunday 3rd of September.

Check in will be from 3 PM and check out until 5 PM (possible to stay until Monday for 10 EUR)

This project was designed with the aim of promoting the study and experimentation of the method and poetics of DanzaMedicina. There will be two consecutive meetings, in April and June 2023, on Saturdays, from 9 am to 6 pm, and on Sundays, from 8 am to 1 pm.

As the traditional stage of the Wanda Fernandes Theater (Galpão Cine Horto, a reference in the cultural scene of Minas Gerais) is the space we chose for this purpose, the clinical process of DanzaMedicina is established as interdisciplinary and interactive, covering ever wider concentric spheres, which start from dance-movement to clinic, music, art, textuality, photography, corporeity, materiality, ritual, cosmos, life.
